The Hinkley Point C project, a major extension to the Hinkley Point power station, involves building two EPR reactors in Somerset in the United Kingdom. These two new-generation reactors will supply 6 million homes with carbon-free electricity for 60 years and reduce CO2 production by 9 million tonnes a year. This is a major challenge for the ecological transition, as it contributes to the objective of “zero net emissions”.
The Integrated teams are part of Edvance, which is made up of several groups carrying out a multitude of transversal activities in the design studies for the nuclear island.
